详细说明: Abstract—Interactive video network, such as Video-on- Demand (VoD) or IPTV system, is the primary part of the Next Generation Network (NGN), in which the application server resources are typically shared by multiple end users. Content delivery policy is one of the most important issues in such kind of network due to the huge storage and bandwidth required by video streaming. The content delivery mechanism for VoD-like human-to-machine communication system is generally developed based on the inequality of the objects' popularity. In our related work, a systematic method for researches on content delivery policies has been developed. In this paper, several key aspects of our work are presented, including the mathematical definition of object popularity and its inequality, time-window based content update algorithm and Dynamic- Resource-Allocation (DRA) based flash crowd mitigation algorithm.
