SIMATIC PCS7的通讯系统采用的是工业以太网和 PROFIBUS现场总线。工业以太
网用于系统站之间的数据通讯, PROFIBUS用于现场控制及检测采集单元的数据交
换。 PROF TBUS现场总线是基于国际标准EN50170的开放的现场总线,采用令牌调度原
理进行数据通讯,主要包括最高波特率可达12M的高速总线 PROF LBUS一DP(H2)和用于
过程制的本安型低速总线 PROFIBUS一PA(I)DP和PA的完美结合使得 PROFIBUS现场
总线在结构和性能上优越于其他现场总线。 PROFIBUS既适合于自动化系统与现场信号
单元的通讯,也可用于可以直接连接带有接口的变送器、执行器、传动装置和其它现

a 20mA output to the pump. Then 120 litre of Lye will be injected to the plant every hour

Oil flow-The actual oil flow rate reading from Flow transmitter. The input to plc will be
4-20mA correspond to 0-65535 depending on type of PLC used. The MaxScale will be
65535 in this case. Inorder to calculate for the actual value we divide by the maxscale and
multiply by the max Ft range of Flow Transmitters. Example, the range of FT is0-9500
Kg/hr. Then the FT range will 9500
FFA%-Free Fatty Acid will vary with the type of oil used. The FFA% will be determined in
the lab This value will be entered by operator as %o. From the formula we divide the ffa%o
by 100 for calculation. Since the amount key in is in percentage
H3 PO4 Dosed is also entered by operator as % For every 1% of FFA%, we will
dose 0. 1 of H3PO4. That is why we divide the h3Po4 by 10. H3 PO4 is added for degumming
purpose
Density-Here refer to the density of oil. Example 0.87
Naoh Excess Dosed- This is the extra amount of naoh we would like to add it in

FFA Mole Weight- Molecular weight divided by 1000

The operator keys h3Po4's concentration in percentage Hence we need to divide it by 100
to convert it to a real value. This value is then multiplied by the oil flow (kg/hr). It is further
divided by the density of the Phosphoric acid at 85% concentration. Density of phosphoric

BE dosing is the control of calculated amount of bleaching powder to be added in to the
