About this manual
This manual describes the installation and operation of the CS1W-ADo41, CS1W-ADo81, CS1W-
ADO41-V1, CS1W-AD081-V1, CJ1W-AD041-V1, CJ1W-ADO81, and CJ1W-ADo81-V1 Analog Input
Units; the CS1W-DA041, CS1W-DAO8V, CS1W-DA08C, CJ1W-DA021, and CJ1W-DA041 Analog Out
put Units; and the CS1W-MAD44 Analog l/ o Unit. This manual includes the sections described below
The input function of CS/CJ-series Analog lo Units converts analog sensor output to the digital format
and transmits it to CS/CJ-series PCs. The output function converts digital data from the pc to the ana
log format for output
Please read this manual and the other manuals related to the cs/cj-series Analog lo Units carefully
and be sure you understand the information provided before attempting to install and operate the
Units
There are five manuals used with the cs/CJ-series Analog y/o Units. These manuals are listed in the
following table. The suffixes have been omitted from the catalog numbers. Be sure you are using the
